EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST

Float trips require as much planning and pre-trip preparation as that "once-in- a- lifetime" vacation. In some instances they require more. Example: no matter where you vacation, it's usually possible to pick up a toothbrush round the next corner. Not so when you're camping on sand bars in the middle of nowhere.

"Be Prepared with Plenty of Gear
in Waterproof Containers"

The following is a very general check list which can be applied to trips lasting two or more days. Just a helpful hint on meal planning - prepare each meal, on paper, for the entire trip. This will let you work out a good variety, will eliminate duplication of foods and also ensure that you do not leave that one special ingredient, for that super special meal, at home.
