Our friendly and helpful staff are avid paddlers who share an enjoyment of the area's nature and wildlife. You'll find their knowledge of canoeing in the Big Thicket to be a valuable resource when planning your outing.

2. When you make a reservation,
    you get a large information
    packet which includes: maps,
    tips on how to organize a trip,
    equipment lists, canoeing safety
    VCR tape, map, directions,
    facts and information about
    the Big Thicket of Texas.

4. Canoes are unloaded and placed at the edge of the river for you; at the end
    of the float we pick up the equipment again.

5. Shuttle service - we get you back to your car.

6. We monitor water levels and keep you informed about up-to-date water and
    weather conditions.

7. Basic canoe instruction available upon request.

8. Check-in service with one person, we will talk you through the trip so you
    know what to expect. Show you topographic maps that you can take with you 
    on the canoe trip so you clearly understand where you are going and
    estimate how long your trip should take.

9. Coleman and Mohawk canoes available.
